2nd Annual Pig Out

On Saturday, we went to Jason and Cyndi's house for the second annual pig-out for the Reekie family and friends. Here's some shots from that event. We all had a great time and the food was dEEElicious, thanks to Jay and Cyndi, John and Violet, Chris and anyone else that had a hand in making it such a fun-filled day.

It was so, so hot that Nolan and I found some relief for him in the next-door neighbor's pool. Thanks Josh, for sharing your pool with us, Nolan had so much fun.

Playing a little hockey with Josh, Nolan has a long way to go to catch up with Josh's skills, he's a super little hockey player (he has four older brothers!!!).

That's it, I didn't take very many pictures because I was having too much fun!

Nolan's Train Experience

On Friday, we went to the Arcade & Attica Railroad with Nicki, Gabe, Nolan, Papa and I. I can't say it was a totally happy excursion, here's a couple shots/videos to share it with you, you'll get the picture. Note Gabe's face in every picture, he was so not a happy camper! We traveled an hour to get there, two hours on the train, then had another hour's ride back home again, which we ended up taking a detour due to a backup on the I-90.










This video shows you how much Nolan liked (NOT) the characters that were singing on the train.

BUT, it wasn't a totally bad experience either:

I made Gabe laugh in this picture, I kept saying, "Don't you smile; Don't you smile", so he had no choice.

Nolan was soooo tired, he totally slept through all the steam engine noises, including the ear-piercing whistle!
